Starfish - crochet pattern

My friend Csilla, who is a passionate diver, asked me to crochet a sea star for her. I was enjoying so much designing this amazing starfish! I hope you will love it too!
Are you an ocean lover, or your friend is a passionate diver? This is a perfect handmade gift and a really quick project! I designed this this pattern with the beautiful Scheepjes Catona. Scheepjes Catona is a mercerized 100% cotton super fine / fingering (1) yarn. "Mercerisation" is a textile finishing treatment which improves dye uptake, tear strength and reduces yarn shrinkage. The surface of the yarn will be more silkier.
